The Heads/Magic DirtAlbum:
Split 7"Origin:
Great Britain (Bristol)/Australia(Geelong)Genre:
Stoner Rock, Psychedelic RockYear:
1997This was a tour split limited to 1000 copies. First track is
Dirty Water by The Heads. And it's an awesome psychedelic rock song (as you can expect from such a great band). I've never heard of Magic dirt, but I found out that they are Australian. Their song,
Goofy Gumb, can be described as fuzzed out stoner rock with a dose of noisy garage rock. Enjoy!

Can't go wrong with the Heads- thanks.
I totally agree with Chairmaker! Thank you!
The more I listen to Dirty Water, the better it gets! I figured out that there are 3 different versions of this song. Great!
Really? I only have this one! And I love it!
One version on "The Time Is Now" from 1998 and another version on "Everybody Knows We Got Nowhere" from 2000.
Crazy, I've been following 'Magic Dirt' since I was Knee high to a Grass Hopper. They're actually from my home town, & one of the first bands I saw live with Aussie punk legends 'The Hard Ons' & 'The Celebrate Rifles'. Fantastic live band, shred with the best. If you half like this stuff check out their more recent releases, more mature but still loads of fuzz!! \m/
