Kali Yuga...

Band: Earth/Sir Richard Bishop
Album: Split 12"
Origin: U.S.A. (Seattle, Washington/Phoenix, Arizona)
Genre: Drone, experimental
Year: 2008

Things have been going slow here. But I'm going to try to pick up the slack.

This split 12" was released to commemorate the tour both bands undertook in 2008. First up is The Peacock Angels Lament by Earth. It's a great song in the same style as their last record but with a little bit of an oriental ring to it. Maybe to complement the more eastern influenced Sir Richard bishop? His track, Narasimha, was the first time I heard this guy and I must say that it's quite a nice track. He plays some very nice and relaxed psych guitar. Enjoy!

Do yourself a HUGE favor and check out Rick Bishop's previous group SUN CITY GIRLS.
The essential two albums would be
'Torch of the Mystics''330,003 Crossdressers from Beyond the Rig Veda'Both records are mind melting eastern acid rock by way of avant garde drone, folk and pop. Unbelievably great stuff!
