There Must Be Some Kind Of Way Out Of Here...

Band: Boris, The Dudley Corporation
Album: Boris and The Dudley Corporation Split 7"
Origin: Japan, Ireland
Genre: Hard Rock, Stoner Rock, Noise
Year: 2003

This split is an odd mismatch. The first song is Ibitsu by Boris (from their Akuma No Uta album). This is a classic boris rock song: fast paced riffing, frantic drums (that crazy atsuo!) and very cool japanese vocals. Next up are two tracks by The Dudley Corporation (Little Man and 3rd Song). I don't know them except that they are from Ireland (which makes them crazy drunks by default) and that they are dubbed noise-pop. Pop they are, noise? I don't know but they do use some odd and funny noises. It's soft rock with strange lyrics on it. I guess you'll have to find out for yourself what it is.

Let me now what you think about them. They are not the best thing ever, but I can listen to them, maybe because they are on a boris split...)

Well, like I said, I like them, but I believe that is 90% just because they are on a boris split. I mean, they are really, just soft rock, like you can hear everywhere. They made the split because they did a gig in Dublin, can you believe the feeling, first that poppy band, and than suddenly boris. Must be strange... Well, I promise you to put up more boris material, if you want you can do a request for boris, I have almost everything...
