A More Effective Beast

Band: Cabrón
Album: Cabrón
Origin: Belgium
Genre: Stoner rock, Hard rock
Year: 2006

Delivering heavy riffs mixed with a very solid rhythm section and melodic vocals, Cabrón is probably one of Belgium's best bands at the moment. With a sound reminiscent of QOTSA, they raise hell with nine solid rock songs on this excellent debut record. My favourite tracks are Cabrón, Empty Room and Parascending.

Haven't ever made a comment in a blog before, hell never really even read blogs before, but damn I'm glad I've ran into this one. Just had to say thanks on this post, I've been looking for this album for what seems like months if it hasn't been. Keep it up dude - The Jack

going back into the ocean vaults here, this looks cool.

random story - my mom's mexican, and family lore has it that my first word ever, before 'mom' and 'dad', was ... cabron. she was driving, got cut off by some douchebag, i was in the backseat, she let fly with the latino goodness...and there you have it. ksn's first word ever.

Have fun going back into the vaults.

I really like Cabron, have seen them play lots of times, and every time is worth it. Put on a great show, and parascending live is just awesome.

Hehehe, funny latino family lore! Great word to start your life with.
