Off all the things you have up here, Jeebus Rice Aluminium?!? I got that comp free with a magazine so don't quite see the point of ripping it down. The up side is this seems to be the worst that can happen, for now anyway.

It seems to be so random and shows that the recprd company association have no ides. I had taken down 2 posts that linked to the archive.org where all the music is free downloads!!!

I think the worried well is right, also because it's an american law, which can only be applied to americans (and thus blogger) but not to foreign users of blogger!

The problem is that anybody around the world who uses blogger comes under American law. So it doesn't matter where you are in the or what nationality you are. Google being American you understand. If you repeatedly get DMCA notices they will just take the whole blog down without any consultation. See this.As I put there blogger themselves say 57% of DMCA notices are wrong but they take them down anyway. Your notice are not issued by Southern Lord but by the industry bodies RIAA/IFPI who don't obviously have a fugn clue. Though SOMA is policing the web himself for Monoliths % Dimensions. It went up for two hours at one place about a week ago, and No I missed it too!!!

O'Malley had a huge collection of other artists downloads up for grabs on his Ideologic website a while back. He had it listed as music which needed to be heard or somesuch.
I don't think Southern Lord is your problem. Every once in a while, different music blogs that offer downloads of albums get tagged by anonymous people who hide behind nonsense like DMCA. Believe it or not, there really are people who take it upon themselves to "get" blogs like this one. It's kind of pathetic, and you'd have to be quite a corporate shill to sheriff the web like that, but that's how it is.
The below is from an interview. Here's why I say that SL isn't your problem:

The RIAA interns writing these automated web-crawlers must really be incompetent. It's fitting with how out of touch the industry is though. Several musicians have contacted me with thanks for promoting their music on my blog. The corporate thieves will never recognize us fans as having a place in the music industry though.
